15 Boutique B&Bs later, all of which are worthy of mention, this one was the best. Josey and Vicky who don't just run, but host the most convivial stays are so helpful and really go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is the best. As the sun sets on the lake giving a spectacular view the canapé and wine evenings are a delight, meeting fellow travellers from around the world. This great experience was the best ending and a real tribute to the people of New Zealand. Thank you Josey and Vicky. The Baron and Baroness x

If you want to feel at home where the staff welcome you, serve fresh breakfast, prepare canapés and drinks in the evenings, and give you a room with spectacular views of lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountain ranges, then this House Boutique is the place to stay. Shops and restaurants in the city are only 300 m away, and you can also walk to the gondolas or be picked up by the bus for day tours. Great service, attractive decor/furniture, comfortable beds, good heating. We couldn't have asked for more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Queenstown House. Josie, Vicky and the team are all lovely and made us feel very welcome. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious - all cooked food made to order. (The home-made banana bread is also yummy!) We would strongly recommend Happy Hour (5.30 - 6.30) if you can fit it into your schedule. You won't regret it!We were very happy and comfortable here and were sad to leave. If we're ever fortunate enough to revisit Queenstown, we'd definitely stay here again.

We felt like family at this lovely boutique B & B. Josie and Vicky were so kind, nice, fun and informative. We truly loved our time there. The evening cocktail hour was a perfect way to meet the other guests. We had dinner in town with two other couples the first evening. The view could NOT be any better anywhere on the "hill" overlooking the lake. Food delicious! Thank you ladies for a great time.
